None of us wanted to leave our villa in Tuscany but after a week it was time to move on. We packed up our bread loaf and headed for our next destination, stopping at Modena and Maranello along the way. It was a choice between Milan and Modena, and Modena/Maranello came out tops all because of a little red car! There are two Ferrari museums, the one in Modena focuses mainly on the history of its creator while the museum in Maranello, about 20 minutes from Modena, has all the cars. Boys preferred to see the cars rather than the man so Maranello it was.

Once we were done at the museum, we went for a quick stroll through Modena. The place was dead quiet, hardly any tourists around.
Piazza del Torre, hardly anyone around in the afternoon.
