Villa Tramonto

Villa Tramonto.. this was our home for 7 days, the longest we would stay in one place throughout our entire trip in Europe. Set in the hills just outside Siena in Tuscany, this beautiful villa is surrounded by rolling hills dotted with vineyards and olive groves. It was hard to say goodbye when the time came to leave.

Perfect location

Main entrance

Lounge and dining room

Basket of goodies left for us by our host

Stairs going down to the bedrooms

Disproportionately small but extremely well equipped kitchen

We ate most of our meals out here looking over the beautiful hills

The lone tree in the distance

Being able to see the partial lunar eclipse against this beautiful backdrop was amazing.

This is their favourite part of the house. It was a struggle getting them out each time!

A ball and a couple of tubes, these kept these monkeys happy all day!

Man and woman in the garden of Eden ☺️

Waiting for the guardian of the house to come out to play

So happy playing, just moments before Sweet Sole the cat turned cranky and gave her a little scratch 😩

Olive trees growing all over the property. The owners press and bottle their own olive oil.

Apple trees in the garden

And pomegranates

Breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside

This says it all... Mia's thank you note in the guestbook.
