Gordes

There were so many little towns to stop at on our way from Marseille to Carcassonne. After doing some reading online and also speaking to Tania who's been to Provence, we decided on Gordes and Rousillon.

Named one of the seven most beautiful villages in France, Gordes is a gorgeous little town filled with white-stoned houses and buildings edged into the sharp cliff of the mountain. We enjoyed a slow walk through the hilly streets, stopping for lunch and a spot of shopping.

At the top of the town square

Vineyards as far as the eye could see.

Crepes for lunch. After this, Ryan still declared Aunty Ava's to be the best he's eaten!

One Mediterranean crepe with salsa, and a ham and cheese one.

Of all the different souvenirs there were, Mia insisted on this pink "crown" 🙄.

Not to be left out 🤣

The view was even more amazing from afar.

Cameraman's selfie. Poor thing is hardly in any photos, always the one behind the camera.
