London

We're finally in London! So good to see Tania and Graeme, and finally be at "home". Yee Chai had a hot chicken stew and rice waiting for us as soon as we walked into the house. These kids ploughed through their rice and chicken as if they hadn't eaten in days! These guys have a beautiful house, right inside the Greenwich Park. It really is the picture perfect cottage. Ryan couldn't wait to get out there to kick his footy and Mia was just excited to run after the squirrels.

First morning walk out to the shops to get meat and veg from Blackheath Village. It was good to have some sister time together.

Kids had just started eating breakfast when we came home with the groceries so we just chilled for awhile then took a slow walk out to lunch a little later. Yee Chai threw up two option, sausages and mash or pies. Majority vote was for pies so pies it was for lunch!

One of the many giant chestnut trees in the park.

Not in service. This phone booth is just a photo prop, no phone inside anymore.

Goddards, selling good traditional English pies.

So hungry he gobbled up this double double (2 pies and 2 scoops of mash) before I could even take my camera out!

Beef pie for Yee Chai, beef and kidney pie for Mama

This little one chose a totally different plate from the rest of us, chicken pie with mash no gravy!

A look at the Cuttysark on our way home

There was a surprise waiting for this little Missy when we got home. Her miraculous ladybug toy that Daddy ordered online had arrived. She's obsessed with this cartoon and pretends to be the super heroine all the time!

We were still very worried about Mia's wrists. Everything was done so quickly that night in Barcelona so we wanted to make sure that we hadn't missed anything, and had gotten the right diagnosis and treatment. Thank goodness Adib and Was were able to get us the contact of a orthopaedic surgeon in London. He checked Mia out and did a couple more X-rays to see how her wrists were healing. All good thank god, he assured us that there would was no permanent damage and her bones will heal naturally on their own. So off came the casts. Wish we had recorded Mia's reaction when the casts came off and we washed her hands in water. Pure joy on her face!

One very happy girl! She only needs these removable splints for the next two weeks or so.

Yummy fish and chips treat for our patient.

Patient and her errand boy. Think he is the happiest that her casts have come off 😆

It's been a long since since we saw Adib, Was and Zayn and we were all really looking forward to spending time with them again. So good to see these guys again. Zaynny has grown so much. Took the two little awhile to warm up but by the end of the day they were chatting and laughing happily together. And Ryan rediscovered just how funny Uncle Adib is, and absolutely loves him because Adib gave him a bottle of mayo sriracha! 😆

Childhood buddies

Little boys having fun.

Super yummy fish and chippies dinner. (With his beloved sriricha mayo never far away!)
