This was our second hike of the day. After that hearty lunch of steaming hot carrot and ginger soup, our chosen sandwich or salad, mini cakes, nibbles of cheese, olives, ham, nuts, fruit, wine and unlimited soft drinks (much to Ryan’s delight!), coffee, tea, none of us were feeling particularly enthuasiastic about another uphill hike, especially the kids. Mia was lagging behind until our guide casually took her hand, walked her to join him at the front and asked her to lead the expedition. There was no stopping her after that! This little munchkin marched all the way to the top without stopping. The rest of us had a hard time keeping up!
