Singapore Tourists (a bit of a time-warp)

Back in time to 12 May 2008 ...

This is a special bonus posting. This is an entry I started ages ago from a trip we did to Singapore in May. You can tell by the size of my belly that this was a while ago. We had lots of fun being tourists in Singapore and went to all the usual tourist traps, including the Zoo, Night Safari and Sentosa Island. This was a first time for Ryan (and Shad for that matter) and it's been well over 10 years for me. We also met up with the Lims and did some more local style activities including a fantastic banana leaf curry lunch. Ryan was amazed that we could eat off a leaf and use our hands and took to it very naturally!

The most natural way to eat - "What's the big deal? I do this at home all the time."

A very hot little boy at the botanical gardens

A splash in the water fountain was just what we needed

A nice cool mango slushy with Joshua Koh Koh

Posing with a friend at the Singapore Zoo

An interesting way to clean your ears

Cooling off at the Kids Water Zone at the zoo

This looks like more fun than the animals

Mmmm... a KFC lunch, before moving on our way again

Feeding the elephants after the elephant show

Wallabies in Singapore - what the...?

Taking on a wooden idol

On a cable car to Sentosa Island

Petting a fish at the Sentosa Aquarium

Lunch on the one of the Sentosa beaches

A fun little holiday, but time to head back to HK - in the airport lounge
