Shad was one of the parent volunteers at a careers talk at Ryan's school a few months ago. So, what can one say about banking that will interest a group of 6 year-olds? Not easy, but as always, my resourceful husband managed to come up with a talk that all the kids found extremely fun. They talked about saving, spending, the role of banks, interests etc through a game of role play. But the best part of the session, especially for Ryan, was the moment Shad whipped out his "Ryan dollars"!
