Mid-Autumn Festival

Mum, Karen, Hayden and Teagan arrived just in time to join in our Mid-Summer Festival celebrations. Together with some our close friends here at the Belchers, we all gathered for a Hong Kong style barbeque which included some very yummy fried bee hoon, chicken curry, spring rolls and of course even tastier desserts. While the adults congregated around the food munching away through the night, the kids ran around with their lanterns and Super Soakers (courtesy of Uncle Shad and much to the dismay of the Mamas!).

A fabulous buffet spread

Like Mother like daughter

No time for photos, there is bee hoon to be eaten

"So what's the deal with this thing?"

Good luck getting this monkeys to bed after all this excitement

As the weather starts to cool down a little, we've been taking the opportunity to spend as much time outdoors on the weekends as possible. So a couple of weeks ago, we happily accepted an invitation to join one of Ryan's ex-playschool classmates, Megan's family and some other new friends on a junk trip.

Not a bad catch - apparently edible

A cute little couple - watch that hand Ryan!
